Since 2013, Prologis employees around the world have engaged in IMPACT Day, the company’s annual global day of service where staff members put down their pens and roll up their sleeves to serve the communities where they live and work.

IMPACT Day gives our employees the opportunity to demonstrate Prologis’ core values of Integrity, Mentorship, Passion, Accountability, Courage and Teamwork (IMPACT). Prologis employees engage in services, ranging from environmental clean-up campaigns and renovation work to for traffic safety programs.

In 2018, more than 1,250 Prologis employees volunteered over 8,000 hours with 48 non-profit organizations to make a difference in the lives of others.

For the past four years, the Prologis Nordics team has supported Stadsmissionen on IMPACT Day. Since 1853, this Swedish organization has worked to improve conditions for families in crisis, older people living alone and the homeless.  The year before the team tended the church’s garden in Gothenburg.

This year’s efforts were a bit different, but no less important. May 18 is the day of the Göteborgsvarvet, one of the world’s biggest races for long-distance runners. Sixty thousand runners race through the center of Gothenburg city with 200,000 supporters along the course. We helped Stadsmissionen in their endeavor to fundraise during the race. The entire Swedish team, along with a colleague from Amsterdam, participated in a multitude of tasks to assist with the campaign.
