Prologis recently announced the acquisition of 295,000 square meters of prime logistics properties in four top locations in Sweden. During the process, Prologis gained 12 new tenants as customers. Gunnar Gillholm, vice president and market officer at Prologis Nordics, explains how being a Prologis customer will affect your business over the long term
1. What are the advantages of being a Prologis customer?
As a global company focused solely on logistics real estate, we are in a special position to understand our customers’ needs and demands. We are logistics experts and that creates a huge advantage for our customers. Our experience is not only local or even national, it’s global.
This means we are able to help our customers adapt to new global trends coming to Sweden. It also means we can be there for them as a partner when looking for logistics solutions in other markets.
Prologis’ financial strength—together with continuous investments in modern real estate, attractive logistic locations, and our ability to build logistic parks and clusters—makes it possible for us to grow with our customers when needed.
2. What does “long term” mean to you and your customers?
Prologis’ focus is always long term. It applies to everything we do, regardless if it’s buying, building, developing, owning or managing logistics real estate. Knowing that we have a long-term focus, investing both in their facilities and their businesses, creates a sense of security for our customers. We also support our customers by future-proofing investments they make in their facilities.
Additionally, “long term” applies to our relationships with suppliers and service providers. These relationships give us the ability to support our tenants with what they need quickly.
3. What can customers expect from the Prologis team?
The team in the Nordics is both agile and focused on creating personal relations with our customers. We want to be easily accessible, focused on problem-solving and create long-term relationships, where customers feel secure and can focus on operations, instead of taking care of facilities. Our tenants can feel confident that we take care of everything.
