Björn Thiemann is senior vice president, regional head Northern Europe at Prologis. He took over this role on January 1, 2023. Previously responsible for Prologis’ activities in Germany as country manager, he now leads all operations and development activities in Northern Europe. This includes Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries. He works closely with the local teams, especially in the area of capital deployment, to drive growth. At the same time, he remains responsible for the business in Germany.
Jessica Pilkes is responsible for the business in Belgium and the Netherlands as vice president, country manager Benelux. She was appointed to this position on January 1. Most recently, she was vice president, real estate & customer experience lead Europe at Prologis. Her focus was on leading the customer experience teams. She was also active in asset management – the ideal foundation for her new role of country manager Benelux, where she reports to Björn Thiemann.

Decades of experience
Björn Thiemann joined Prologis in July 2020. He was previously head of fund management Europe/Global at Union Investment Real Estate in Hamburg for seven years, where he was responsible for the management and oversight of the open-ended UniImmo:Europa and UniImmo:Global real estate funds, with a total asset value of approximately 17.5 billion euros. Prior to that, he held the position of head of fund management Europe at Deka Immobilien Investment in Frankfurt for five years. Björn Thiemann holds a degree in business administration and a degree in real estate economics.
Jessica Pilkes has worked for Prologis since 2010 – among other positions as property manager Benelux and as director, head of property management Benelux.
