Prologis Sweden's latest PARKlife initiative is an outdoor gym, located in the middle of Eskilstuna logistics park next to Prologis Park Eskilstuna DC3. The purpose of gym is, like with all PARKlife initiatives, to promote health and well-being for those in the area.
– We know how important a good work environment is. A crucial part of that is having access to fresh air and physical activity. Therefore, we are very pleased that our tenants at Prologis Park Eskilstuna DC3, and everyone else in the area, now have a new gym nearby, says Andreas Berggren, leasing manager, Prologis.
The outdoor gym in Eskilstuna was inaugurated on September 20 with a lunch buffet, mingling, and some exercise. In addition to Andreas Berggren and Tony Johansson, head of development at Prologis Sweden, Manuel Brändeborn and Mikael Jonsson from Eskilstuna municipality were also present. Gym instructor Antonio Cortes was also on site, providing tips on strength and conditioning exercises, and curious employees from various tenants in the area.
The gym is located at Williams väg in Eskilstuna. It is free to use and open for tenants in the park as well as for the public.
