On June 28, in accordance with tradition, Prologis hosted a topping-out ceremony at Prologis Park Rosersberg DC4 to celebrate the building's highest point. The party was an opportunity to draw attention to the latest in a series of acquisitions and speculative buildings in the Nordic market that are expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Over 100 guests gathered at the state-of-the-art logistics space that extends over approximately 20,000 square meters.

“With good company and great food, we had the opportunity to show off a facility we are very proud of. Together with our contractors and brokers, we celebrated the successful construction so far and that Prologis Park Rosersberg DC4 soon will be ready for occupancy,” says Tony Johansson, head of development, Nordics.

topping-out ceremony in Rosersberg

With its strategic position, Rosersberg stands out in the Nordic logistics market. It’s only 10 kilometers to Arlanda Airport, 34 kilometers to Värtahamnen and, with the E4 right next door, is one of the most established logistics hubs in the region.

Prologis Park Rosersberg DC4 will be built according to BREEAM "Excellent" standards and contribute to the organization Cool Earth's work to protect endangered rainforests. In addition, wood tube paper studs will be used instead of traditional steel studs, as well as building boards made by Ricoma from recycled packaging waste.

In addition, the building will have a number of qualified features in its basic version, such as solar cells on the roof, expansive natural light and a free-hanging mezzanine, as well as self-watering vegetation for a pleasant working environment and quality air. The property is also directly adjacent to a green area where patios are planned for those who will work in the building.
