Göteborg – 26 April, 2017 – Prologis, the global leader in logistics real estate, today announced that they have signed a long term renewal with DB Schenker for its logistics facility in Västra Arlandastad near Stockholm.
DB Schenker has been the tenant of the 33,000 square meter logistics facility in Västra Arlandastad since 2008 when the building was completed. In 2010 the logistics space was extended by another 8,000 square meters.
The facility was also the first of its kind to be Green Building certified in Sweden, which means that the percentage of purchased energy is 25 percent lower compared to the national building standards for new buildings.

DB Schenker rents several facilities from Prologis in Europe with a total area of 322,000 square meters.
Recently Prologis strengthened its position in the Stockholm region, through an acquisition from ESTEA Logistic Properties 5 AB (publ) regarding two facilities, which are 100-percent leased modern Class-A facilities.
