Logistics real estate company Prologis has entered into a new agreement with Comforta AB in Arlandastad. The agreement covers 5,614 square meters of the logistics property Prologis Park Arlanda DC6 unit 2. The property, built on speculation, was completed in February 2023 and is now fully leased. Comforta plans to open its operations in the summer of 2024.

Comforta AB, a subsidiary of one of Europe's leading textile companies, Lindström Group, provides textile services for hotels and restaurants. They have now signed a long-term lease agreement with Prologis for a logistics property in Arlanda, where they will conduct laundry operations.

– Just like our customers, we value long-term partnerships, and a long-term lease agreement felt absolutely right. We see Prologis as a stable partner whose ambitions and environmental goals align well with our own, aiming for a completely carbon-neutral operation by 2050, says Thomas Utriainen, Project Manager at Lindström Group.

The property was built on speculation and was completed in February 2023. The total of 12,141 square meters is divided into two units, with the first unit already leased. With the newly signed agreement with Comforta, the property is now fully leased. Like all of Prologis' new logistics properties, this is a state-of-the-art facility, environmentally certified according to the BREEAM "Very good" standard. In addition, the construction was climate-compensated through the organization Cool Earth, which protects endangered rainforests.
